Spring holiday! …is over

Spring holiday! …is over
Hello there Readers!
Today is actually the last day of my spring holidays. Uni starts tomorrow and there’s still no spring in sight. At this time last year, I was taking pictures of plum and cherry blossoms but this year everything seems to be a little late. Anyway, I actually went swimming in the lake two days ago after the sauna and got a cold… I didn’t do anything special or crazy besides that and except for some excessive movie nights and some shopping my week has been pretty quiet.

Ordered these cuties~ can’t wait for them to arrive!

New in: cat flats from h&m and striped hoodie from my Mum :rabukuma:

Don’t you just love breakfast? Even if I don’t eat breakfast every morning I still think it’s the most important meal of the day and I prefer bread with ham, cheese, jam or honey to cereals… yeah – quess that’s the German genes! But believe it or not, I didn’t touch any chocolate for Easter! Luckily I’m just not that into that sweet brown mass, no matter in what shape or taste. But I could eat red meat for a whole family!! If I had that much money…

Soba with shrimps and different veggies~
Omuraisu for Silvan-kun

very quick Bento without frills for after the sauna~

I’ve discovered the most yummy tofu recipe I tried in a long time! It is called Shiraae 白和え – Mixed Tofu and Spring Vegetables and since I had just bought tofu, I tried this really simple but oh so tasty recipe from “cooking with dog” (I’m sure all of you who like Japanese cuisine know and love the nice ばあさん with her doggie).
Basically it’s crumbled tofu seasoned with dashi, soy sauce and/or miso paste to which you add blanched (spring) vegetables. In the other part of the Bento there’s whole grain penne with rapini, egg and edamame. An other culinary high light was the first completely self-made pizza…

What are your favourite pizza toppings? Mine are tuna, anchovies (l.o.v.e. them), capers, onion, mozzarella and lots of tomato sauce. I never ever put meat on my pizza!!! don’t know why but I just hate meat on pizza. I like to eat meat without nothing:miam:

Sorry for this really messy post!! and I if it made you drool too much… I’m off to dream land but I hope I can make it back really soon!!
Lots of love Cuties ..and thank you so much for all the darling comments on the Kiiroitori and the Bunnies Bento!! It’s your awesome comments that make me want to improve my Bento skills and get better each time.

Le Bunny Bleu

Le Bunny Bleu
Hey there Bunnies!
Today’s post is about one of the cutest shoe brands I’ve ever seen!
“The blue bunny”

I hadn’t heard nor read about this brand until recently but I immediatley fell in love with their style. They describe themselves as “New York cool with a European twist” or also “Romantic vintage”.

They’re all totally adorable, don’t you think? But the bunny flats are my favourite! I like how there’s the bunny from their logo on almost all of their shoes. It’s simple yet so cute! The down side of pastel flats is that they quickly get dirty and that’s a real bummer for me because I don’t like to pay attantion… Anyway, they’re so perfect for spring and summer but I guess I’ll wait for the actual S/S 2013 collection.

The ones with the metal bunny look a lot like Tory Burch flats but the bunny is so much more whimsical. :tanoshii: It’s still kind of stylish and clean because the bunny is geometric and not too babyish.
Apparently the brand is kind of popural in in Korea, Japan and China and I’ve seen many Asian girls on the internet, wearing them. But I keep asking myself why they’re not as popular in Europe!?
They have different stores in East Asia and in the US but only one in Europe and it’s located in the UK. (lucky ladies :on: ) Of course you can still shop online and I think they ship worldwide.

I dont wear a lot of heels so I didn’t miss them while browsing their website. If they designed a pair of cute bunny heels though, I would obviously love them. :klimper: So… what do you think, do you like them? I posted only pictures of their F/W 2013 collection but there are many more styles.

Check out their website here: Le Bunnys :jumpingrabbit:

Irregular Choice

Irregular Choice
or just an other post about fresh, malicious and multicoloured shoes… I’m sorry guys!! :oh:

In August 1999, Irregular Choice was launched from the quaint seaside town of Brighton on the south coast of England, by design entrepreneur Dan Sullivan. He was on a mission to change the way we see shoes and put his Irregular ‘stomp’ on the footwear world.

Irregular Choice kicked off its first season with its own take on the traditional Japanese split-toe look, which often reappears in current collections.

Over the last 10 years Irregular Choice has carved itself a niche and inadvertently founded itself a fan club. Having had collaborations with some of the worlds most sought after brands and designers, we are constantly pushing the boundaries with each collection. IC has even been named ‘The Viagra of the shoe industry’. source

Do you like them? I think they would be great for the L o l i t a -look! But I would also wear them with a pair of jeans and a white shirt. :klimper: I would love to buy a pair and the price isn’t really too bad for what you get!! In comparison to the shoes from Kron by KronKron (check out my post about them here they’re pretty cheap and at least as fun and whimsical as them. I’m so not sure which pair to get!! Please help me out guys!! you can check out their really cool and cute website here. The ones with the ice cream are like REALLY cute but I don’t know if I had the guts to wear them :snif: also, keep in mind that summer is over! So I need a pair that goes for autumn and or winter.
