Of flowers and dresses
Hey there Cuties! :hionigiri:
It’s been a while again, hasn’t it? Thank you so much for the encouraging and honest comments on my last entry. Well not on the Bento part but on the uni related stuff I wrote. I was really touched and especially your comment, mishberries, :bling: made me smile and think a lot. I’m so lucky to have few but really caring readers writing such awesome comments!
I feel kind of guilty though, that I haven’t more to show you than some flower pics..

These were flowers growing in the countryside two weeks ago~

I’m actually really into flowers and plants, but then again, who isn’t?! Every year I discover a flower that I didn’t knew before and I get all excited..
Uni hasn’t really gotten a lot better but today sweet Laurita :hoshi: visited me to go through some exam stuff. Well actually she did all the work because I was too unorganized to be of any help..
ありがとう~ :ii:
nyaaaa what can I tell you… my life at the moment revolves pretty much about trying to learn Japanese and East asian history of art. Today I had a rather tense talk with my professor about an object description I wrote on a Dogū figurine from the Jōmon period. It may doesn’t show on my blog but I can actually be quite demanding. The good thing is that it’s only around one more month and then I’m already on summer holidays! Or at least semi-holidays since I still have to write papers then. Yeah, that’s pretty much everything I can tell you about my life right now. :w:

It was one of those days when it’s a minute away from snowing and there’s this electricity in the air, you can almost hear it. Right? .. just kidding, this is a quote from American Beauty. I always get to think about this passage of the movie when I start my sentences with “It was one of those days”. Actually it was one of those first really hot days when I thought that I need new dresses. I was on my way back home and like always had to take the tram that goes across all the city and I spontaneously got out and went for some shopping.

In the end I ended up buying only one simple white dress from h&m (not in the pic) because the others were too expensive for me. But I also finally got my beloved lace shorts!!! I’ve been craving shorts like these for ages and I feel lucky to finally have them. There’s also the navy coat in the upper right corner which I immediately fell for. It was love at first sight. And the picture under that shows the outfit I wore that day. … my eyebrows look crazy in that pic. Sorry for that! :oh:

Wearing out my neko flats~ :nekopaw:

This was a rather pointless flower and outfit post… I should post the pictures I take more regularly but I’m always afraid that they’re not special or “themed” enough but I guess that ist’s about what you make out of it.
I wish you all a fab weekend! And keep a stiff upper lip! .. ( but that probably applies more to me right now..)

byebye,

Le Bunny Bleu

Le Bunny Bleu
Hey there Bunnies!
Today’s post is about one of the cutest shoe brands I’ve ever seen!
“The blue bunny”

I hadn’t heard nor read about this brand until recently but I immediatley fell in love with their style. They describe themselves as “New York cool with a European twist” or also “Romantic vintage”.

They’re all totally adorable, don’t you think? But the bunny flats are my favourite! I like how there’s the bunny from their logo on almost all of their shoes. It’s simple yet so cute! The down side of pastel flats is that they quickly get dirty and that’s a real bummer for me because I don’t like to pay attantion… Anyway, they’re so perfect for spring and summer but I guess I’ll wait for the actual S/S 2013 collection.

The ones with the metal bunny look a lot like Tory Burch flats but the bunny is so much more whimsical. :tanoshii: It’s still kind of stylish and clean because the bunny is geometric and not too babyish.
Apparently the brand is kind of popural in in Korea, Japan and China and I’ve seen many Asian girls on the internet, wearing them. But I keep asking myself why they’re not as popular in Europe!?
They have different stores in East Asia and in the US but only one in Europe and it’s located in the UK. (lucky ladies :on: ) Of course you can still shop online and I think they ship worldwide.

I dont wear a lot of heels so I didn’t miss them while browsing their website. If they designed a pair of cute bunny heels though, I would obviously love them. :klimper: So… what do you think, do you like them? I posted only pictures of their F/W 2013 collection but there are many more styles.

Check out their website here: Le Bunnys :jumpingrabbit:

byebye,

Spring in January!

Spring in January!
Hey there Lovelies~ :heartame:
Beginning from today I’m finally on holiday! Today I finished my paper and now I’m looking forward to doing the many things I missed during the semester. :jupp:

:sprout: Visiting other cities :sprout: Making bento (the last one I did was almost two months ago) :sprout: Planning the trip to Japan :sprout: Reading books :sprout: Hanging out with friends :sprout: Taking pictures
:sprout: Go snowboarding :sprout: Sleeping :sprout: (Online) shopping :sprout: Working out :sprout: And last but not least, blogging!

I need blooood…. lots of it!

I hope you didn’t fell off your chair after seeing this pictures. I spent several days in Italy but as you can see, working on my paper made me become a vampire. Drinking Silvankun’s blood was the only option for me to take this picture in the sunlight. :hehe:
Although it was really warm for this season of the year (18 degrees on the first days of January… seriously?!) I spent almost the entire time inside.
Forgive me my face ‘au naturel’ but I was way too lazy to put on makeup, especially since I was and still am having a sore throat and a runny nose…

*nyann*

Right now we’re back in Zurich because Silvankun has to write exams for uni but I’ll be enjoying the sun again really soon when he’s finished! It’s kind of unusual for me to have so many weeks off from uni but I guess I still need to get used to it… What I’m looking forward to the most, are the two weeks I’ll be spending in the mountains to do some snowboarding. But for the coming days I’ve planned a lot of sleeping, making bento & shopping~
Sounds quite selfish eh? Well I know that everyone has already posted their resolutions for the new year and mine do certainly not only consist of selfish things but admittedly I have quite some egoistic catching up to do. It was truly inspiring to read all your resolutions and it helped me to decide on mine~ :catexclam:

Nina loves playing in the snow so much!

Wearing pink happens pretty rarely to me so I wanted to take pictures! I never think too much about what to wear when I’m there but when I found the old sweater in a drawer I thought it could look cute with the white scarf. The texture of the scarf is incredibly soft and I love the pompoms~ :hoshi:
I know I havent been blogging much since I started with uni but I absolutely want to blog more now that I’m actually on holiday. I got a little rusty but I hope I can surprise you with my upcoming posts.
