おにぎりファミリー
:hionigiri:
As you may noticed I rearranged my Blogroll. Some of the blogs that were listed there are now listed under “Links” and a few new blogs were added to the Blogroll. One of the newly added blogs is this one:

Isn’t the header just lovely? I like it so much that I just had to post a picture of it here :nyan:
It’s a German girl posting about different things in her life, such as makeup and clothes but above all about Bento! Blogs that are only about Bento are somehow boring for me, because I like to know a little bit about the person who makes them. I’m always happy and excited when I come across blogs that combine Bento and other things of their life! But most important is that seing her Bentos made me finally want to make one myself. It’s been two weeks since my last Obento!!! I’m on hoildays now but I did one nevertheless.. :miam:

It’s a big Onigiri Family with shy children! The ingredients are really simple and it didn’t take me too much time to prepare it. I used some leftover rice for the Onigiri and a leftover, cooked potato to make the Japanese potato salad. If you look closely you will see, that each Onigiri is holding a spear made of asparagus. :nope: It was Silvankun who came up with this cute idea!
We both think they look a little like the guys in Patapon パタポン (a video game combining gameplay features of rhythm games and God games).

To take a look at more pictures and the ingredients read on!
Obento Ingredients: Rice, pickled ginger, Nori, asparagus, salad, red cabbage, white sesame, ポテトサラダ (Japanese potato salad), chicken & apple

I recived my Cherry Culture order but I didn’t had the time to review something yet and still less to try everything.. Please be patient, I will be back soon

  4. This is too cute!!! I’ve never made a bento before, but I really want to try. How long does it usually take? Great job on yours, it’s so adorable xx

    • Thank you! :arigatou: Try it, it’s funny! How long that it takes depends on what you make and how organized you are. If you make a really elaborated one without any planning it can, (under circumstances) take you quite some time (1hour)

  5. <3 I love that you share such interesting blogs.

THE ONIGIRI FAMILY IS SO CUTE!! Even the children! And you know how I feel about children!

    Take care,
