My stay in Italy was shorter than expected because I had to go back to Zurich on Sunday. The weather was beautiful and therefore perfect for harvest. We managed to fill some buckets with grapes and to take some pictures and than left. The grapes that grow on this piece of land are enough to make about 500 liter of wine. Of course we can’t drink all that wine all by ourselves so we give it away.
There were not only grapes but also aubergines, tomatoes, raspberries, pears, quinces and pumpkins. I’m especially fond of the pumkpkins because it’s a Japanese sort and so delicious! I will write more about it when I’m going to cook it.
