A wolf in sheep’s clothing or~ My first Lolita meet-up
A wolf in sheep’s clothing, that was pretty much how I felt on that afternoon. I’ve never dressed in Lolita and I’m not considering myself a Lolita but I like to see this fashion on others. Last sunday Les Gourmandises de Miyuko hosted a wonderful Lolita meet-up- my first Lolita meet-up ever! There were about twenty guests, all neatly arranged in Miyuko’s tiny but cozy and uniquely furnished café. As you may know, the dress code was strictly Lolita so with all the pretty girls and boys in there, Miyuko’s café quickly transformed into a dollhouse. Although I’ve never been to a Lolita meet-up I’ve seen plenty of pictures on other blogs and I have to say, that I’ve never seen so many well-dressed Lolitas in one place. Everyone was just gorgeous and unique in their own way! The higlight of this meet-up were all the carefully prepared delicacies served on étagères and accompanied by different blends of tea.

At this point I would like to say a sincere Thank You to Miyuko’s café for hosting this meet-up and taking so much effort in making it an unforgettable experience. Not only was the ambience what every doll dreams of, but also the treats were truly delicious and a little adventure for me.
To all the German and Swiss Lolitas out there: It was fun meeting you all at Miyuko’s! I hope we will have the chance to meet and have fun again all together!

Enough said, I think pictures say more than words so take a look for youself and enjoy a little bit of the atmosphere on that unforgettable afternoon.

  2. Ahhh it’s looks like fun! Everybody is so cute but I have to admit I was staring mostly at the sweets!!They look so delicious! I want them badly! Very badly! I also loved your post Hirari and Chiho Aoshima ( Well she’s not my fav artist but still love her work) I am also jealous of you Obento, I, unfortunately, don’t have talent in cooking :( It looks horribly tasty… it is so unfair, I am getting hungry just watching your pictures :ghihi:
