Easter Obento

:hionigiri: こんにちはみなさん! How was your weekend? Mine was quite awesome . Saturday evening we went to the lake for a barbecue. We bought a one-way grill and I really doubted about its reliability but it worked out well and everything came out great (but I had to say goodbye to my diet..)! Since in five days it’s easter I thought I could give it a try with an easter-themed Obento. It took me quite some time to finish it but here it is:

After all it’s not a real easter Obento because there are also demon foxes and little ghosts and the only thing that is easter related is the bunny egg

. I can’t really plan how an Obento should look, mostly it just turns out the way it wants.. (the same thing happens when I draw something or write a text) I hope you like it nevertheless!

Obento Ingredients:

- Lamb’s lettuce

- Egg

- Chicken Nuggets

- Yoghurt

- Mozzarella

- Chives

- Tomato

- Rice salad

- Nori

- Onion sprouts

- Bread
- Ricotta

- Mayonnaise

I used black sesame and Sichuan pepper for the eyes.

Healthy Obento & Memories

I just wanted to say Thank You to Sara Mari for posting about my giveaway on her amazing blog but also to all the others who joined the giveaway!

And now to the topic: this was my lunch for today, my 4th Obento!

Since I’m kind of on a diet I was so hungry at lunch time that I didn’t had the patience to cut out more cute faces and stuff. There are a lot of vegetables but also a bit of cheese, pita bread, crispbread and two pieces of Herring put between the crispbread with a little Ricotta and cucumber.

Ingredients:

- Rapini (or Broccoli Rabe)

- Carrots

- Cucumber (pickled and fresh)

- Pita Bread & Crispbread

- Cottage Cheese, Feta & Ricotta

- Herring

Feta (although mine is lowfat) and Herring are quite nutritious but I used them in small amounts. I somehow have to get through the schoolday without a grim face and a stomach that growls all the time so I can’t only eat vegetables. Nemu Kurotsuchi’s Rocking Horse Shoes

:hionigiri: I know I’m probably being impatient but it seems as my giveaway isn’t going too well . Anyway life goes on! I just received my first pair of Rocking Horse Shoes (they arrived after only one week!! ♥) and the Nemu Kurotsuchi costume I ordered about two months ago . The upper part of the costume suits almost perfectly but the skirt is way too short for my taste. I think I’ll have some changes made..

I love this character from Bleach. She hasn’t had many appearances until now but I like her calm and distanced behavior. And most important: She never smiles. I’m not going to play a character that doesn’t resemble my character at all! I’m nothing like Orihime or Rukia so it would be strange to wear their costume and to act like them, I think..

Now to the Rocking Horse Shoes, I was really afraid that I couldn’t walk in them but my doubts were blown away because I’m wearing them right now and it’s easy and comfortable

(much easier than high heels…) I don’t remember where (on the internet) I first saw them but they captured my attention and I just couldn’t let go of the idea owning a pair. On La Carmina I read that this kind of shoes was first designed by Vivienne Westwood. But before I read that I just thought they looked like Okobo, the shoes a Geisha apprentice (Maiko) wears during her apprenticeship, with two little bells that sound with every step the Maiko takes as a reminder of her childishness ( traditional Japanese child’s shoes have bells too).
