I’m ill =(… my throat burns and I’m coughing. Fortunately I haven’t got any lessons on mondays! This morning I started picking out the good pictures I took during the two days of Japan Impact. I have to say that I didn’t use my cam for three years . So I did some really stupid newbie mistakes like holding my hand in front of the flashlight or cutting away important bodyparts. It’s a good cam but I’ve never read any instructions because I’m sooo lazy
As soon as we arrived on the first day, we ate a cup of Tempura Udon from the stand after the stairs outside. It was delicious!!! Now I know what I was doing wrong while preparing them at home.. I’ve always kept the Udon boiling for too long . The people were nice and I enjoyed seeing cosplay for the first time!!! Japan Impact organised Calligraphy courses, Ikebana courses, Origami, Shiatsu, traditional Japanese dances, drumming, Go and much more. There were diffrent contests such as a Cosplay contest, a Miss Kawaii contest, a Manga drawing contest & even a Japanese Fashion Show! (which I appreciated very much because I lost overview about the different styles a long time ago.. to be honest I never knew that much about them ) I’m going to bed now…
Ladies & Gentlemen!
I know, I know.. On my last post I wrote that I was going to post a recipe as next… well I changed my plans. This weekend JAPAN IMPACT took place in Lausanne from the 27.2. 11 to the 28. 2. 11!! I went there with my boyfriend and it was great! It was the first time for me, visiting a convention! I liked it a lot!!!
Here some pics.. (only a few to give you the taste of what is awaiting you later.. I took around 200 pics and it’s going to take some time to select the best ones and remove red eyes etc.) I hope everyone who was there had as fun as I had!!! (If someone wants his picture deleted just write me!! thank You!!!)
As soon as I find the time to select the pictures I’ll post them here..
Please be patient
Wow today was a day full of surprises!!! My package arrived from Japan, school started again and I got such sweet presents from a class mate whose brother lives in Osaka! last but not least the first chemistry lesson was cancelled.. ( I don’t know if I should be happy about that or not.. but well.. more time to jaw with the class after the holidays). Sadly for the people of Christchurch in New Zealand it was a tragic day. I don’t know really what to say about it… I’m just deeply sorry for the people there and I wish I could do something to help!! Earth Quake in New Zealand (Christchurch) now my mood has gotten really bad…
( right now I am totally losing myself in this beautiful soundtrack.. ironically I haven’t seen the movie nor read the book.. but I will probably catch up on the book.. )
Here some pictures of what arrived from Japan:
our new Obento-boxes
Hand cream, bath salts, ear-picker & false eyelashes (I have never tried applying false eyelashes before..
.. is it difficult?? well I’ll see…)
Mameshiba metallic box… I don’t know yet how I am going to use this one.. I just thought it looked really cute with all kinds of beans on it
I ordered many cooking utensils!! On this picture I tried to capture everything that was in the package..
But the cutest present is this calendar from my class mate
My next entry will be a recipe !
